Trauma Wise Institute is a leader in delivering specialized training, consulting, and survivor support services designed to create trauma-responsive organizations. We help HR leadership, safety management, and policymakers in high-risk sectors to address workplace trauma, prevent violence and harassment, and create psychologically safe, inclusive environments.
Our mission is to empower high-risk industries to prioritize psychological safety, gender equality, and trauma-responsive leadership through specialized training, mentorship, policy enhancement, and survivor-informed programs. We are committed to fostering safe, inclusive environments where all individuals can thrive.
Our vision is to create a national workforce culture where healing-centered, inclusive, and trauma-informed systems are the standard—rather than the exception. By 2030, we aim to see high-risk industries leading the charge in setting new standards for equality, safety, and trauma-responsive leadership. Our goal is to have 100 leaders across 10 key industries recognized as the "Gold Standard" in driving this transformation. Through this commitment, we will drive positive social impact and support organizations in strengthening their ESG goals while aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for a more inclusive, equitable, and sustainable future.
We center survivors, workers, and communities as agents of change.
We are committed to creating environments where psychological and physical safety are prioritized, enabling individuals to feel secure, supported, and valued.
We amplify equity-deserving voices and prioritize accessibility in all that we do.
We apply leading-edge research and practices to catalyze transformation.
We take a holistic approach to change, addressing the interconnected systems within organizations that perpetuate trauma and inequities.
We believe in taking purposeful steps to create tangible change, driving sustainable progress through measurable actions.
Trauma Wise is a trauma-informed collective of HR consultants, executive coaches, legal and medical experts, therapists, and trainers dedicated to igniting positive change within organizations. We specialize in creating trauma-responsive workplaces that prioritize psychological safety, inclusivity, and equity, through:
At Trauma Wise Institute, we focus on addressing the root causes of workplace trauma, including discrimination, bullying, harassment, and systemic inequities. Our approach is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and integrity. We begin by conducting a comprehensive assessment of your organization’s specific challenges and needs, allowing us to craft tailored solutions that drive sustainable, meaningful change. By incorporating GBA+ (Gender-Based Analysis Plus) and intersectionality, we ensure that all individuals are supported, valued, and empowered to thrive.
To holistically support organizations in becoming trauma-responsive, Trauma Wise Institute operates through three specialized divisions: TRADEWISE, CULTUREWISE, and FUTUREWISE. Each branch serves a distinct purpose while staying rooted in our core values of equity, safety, and trauma-informed leadership.
Together, these divisions allow us to drive systemic change from multiple angles—workforce, workplace, and community—creating a more inclusive and resilient future for all.
In today’s high-risk industries, creating trauma-responsive, equitable, and inclusive environments is a strategic necessity for long-term success. At Trauma Wise Institute, we help organizations embed these values into their core business practices, transforming them into leaders in safety, inclusion, and innovation.
